The contents of the bag is a mix of lots of little things a teacher may need..

This is the little verse that I put on the front of the bag.

I bought a lovely pink mason jar to put the goodies in...

Here is what was in the bag...

Aspro clear-for having the little man in your class (this bit was just for us you don't have to do this or if you do just word it different...

A Chupa chup- for days that suck....
Extra chewing gum- because your extra special...
Tea Bag- take time to relax...
Smarties-think smart....
Twine- to tie friendships together...
Crayon-to colour your day...
Band Aid-for hurt feelings...
Lifesavers-for when you've had one of those days...
Kiss- everyone needs a hug or two...
Star- to remind you that you are a star teacher...
Rubber band- to be flexible...
Toothpick- to pick out the good qualities in each child...
Mintie-you are worth a mint to your students..
Balloon- to remind you to have fun...
Bubble Gum-to remind you to stick to what you say...
Eraser-everyone makes mistakes...

There is lots more you could  add to this or take away the choice is yours....

Even though we are late for this year (sorry) how good would this be for a New teacher who has just graduated or even for a welcome gift for your child's teacher in 2015...

Hope you got a laugh from this I did as I made it

Christmas craft 9 Wine glass snow globes...

Today I'm doing another Snow globe Oh no you say but come on this one is different as it uses a plastic wine glass so come on I know you want to have a look....and then I know you will want to make it...

You will need

A plastic wine glass I got mine in a pack of 6 for $2 from the cheap shop...
cardboard....
decorations for inside on globe....
ribbon...
hot glue gun...
some trim for around base...
small piece of foam...
artificial snow...

Disregard stem of glass.
glue a piece of ribbon around top...

Cut a piece of cardboard to fit base...

Arrange your decorations on the cardboard base using your little bits of foam to give height...

Tip upside down and put your snow in.

Glue round cardboard base and put on glass...

I had this pretty little lace trim in my lace box so I just wrapped it around the base hiding the cardboard...

And there it is another beautiful Snow globe using a plastic glass....

Just some Christmas bits...

These are just some pictures of some of the decorations I have made recently...

I've gone snow globe crazy.....

Oh I'm also mini tree crazy I found the cute little truck in the LM's toy box and you will see later that I used it for another craft....

This beautiful ornament is going to be a family treasure ...its from my dear friend Libbie in Minnesota USA....LOVE IT...

I had these candy machines that I got for $1 after Easter and I got Kev to paint it white...

I then got the little tree and truck I made above and put into the machine added some snow and a deer and presto another yes another snow globe...

Hope you like these and I promise no more snow globes...

Christmas Craft 8 Clay Stars...

This was probably one of my favourite crafts I've made this Christmas Little Clay Stars gift tags...mouthful to say isn't it ha ha

I have seen these all over the net and if you know me once I see something I have to try and do it...

You only new a few things...

I used Fimo Air dry clay light, but my friends used another clay like Das that was brown when they used it but as it dried it went white.
So really whatever air dry clay you get will be fin try a couple till you find one you like.I like the Fimo I had a go of the Das and found the Fimo lighter and easier not as much kneading to use so I am sticking with Fimo...

Cookie cutters -I had some star shapes in different sizes..
Rolling pin- I have an acrylic one that I use for fondant its small so I used this one but wooden ones are fine.
ABC stamps- I have a box of little alphabet stamps and they worked out well.

Oh baking paper and a tray. Just put the baking paper on the tray so your shapes are on a flat surface and the paper stops it sticking....

Break off a bit of clay  and knead it lightly then roll out to about a couple of millimetres. Its hard to explain what thickness to roll but you don't want it to thick or too thin you just do it to personal taste.

Then use your cutter and cut out your shape..re roll clay and cut out again...

I liked to cut out about four or five at a go...

Now just get your stamps and stamp your name or word or just initial onto the clay don't go to hard though....

Using a skewer (oops I forgot to say that before) make a hole so you can pull cord through when they are finished....

Here's all  my cuties just sitting here drying out ....

When finished thread through your cord....

After I took this photo I used a emery board to sand off any marks that were there ...

These were so easy to make ...LM made some as well and he liked making them...

This cute little tree is from my friend Vanessa .I She is one of my craft group and I just wanted to show you that she used her stars as decorations. Also this is the DAS clay. So pretty...

One friend of mine when she rolled her's out got a doily and rolled it over the clay took it off and her star had this lovely pattern on it..

Another friend when her stars dried she painted them with white acrylic paint and when that was dry she got some red paint and wiped over the names then rubbed the paint off that way the name was more visible but I like mine this way...

Here is one of my stars all wrapped up. I am so happy with these and when you unwrap your gift you can keep you tag to hang on your tree the following year.

If your going to do any craft this year try these I am sure you will be happy with the out come.

Today I am sharing at Wow us Wednesdays

Redoing the LM's bedroom AGAIN

I have a bad habit....

I love changing the LM's room around which is kinda strange if you know me cause I don't handle change well.

Anyway the LM is growing up fast and I wanted a room to reflect this....and since I have a yellow fetish at the moment it satisfied me on two fronts...

Just to warn you though there is a few photos here...

The LM's room before there is nothing wrong with this but I just wanted to freshen it up a bit...

I bought these mask decals from Urban wall.

Kevin made LM a new tissue box and painted it yellow and we added the decal.

This clock was painted green in his old room now it is yellow...

I love it more this way....

Of course a new room means new bits so some online shopping was needed. The above bits were from Typo...

You also need art work I saw these on the net and just printed to a 5x7 size.

The black frames with the matt boards are from Spotlight and cost  $15 for three Bargain....

These letters were already on the wall and rather than buy new ones Kev just resprayed them yellow...

I bought this shadow box from Kmart for $12 and painted it....

Paint is my best friend ha ha

I had the wooden people so I just painted them up ...

A new throw from Bed bath n table  to finish off the bed.

I couldn't resist this little fellow and he sits on the LM's bed head with the help of blue tac....

As you can see here Kevin stuck up the decals on the wall. The walls have only just been painted a couple of months ago so that was great and a big help.

I already had the quilt its from Target and  the yellow pillow cases Phew another help..

Every thing came together great...

This is a work in progress I have just bought a new yellow cushion for some whoop and havnt took a photo yet but it looks good trust me..

Love the black and white cross pillow $15 from Big W....

The large letter A is from Typo... and it replaces a brown decal I used to have...

The shelves were already here so another yeah for me and my budget...

I printed the mickey ears as LM loves Mickey. Ashley and Mel brought LM back the mouse ears with his name on it when they went to Disneyland.. and I love this little bit of shelf...

LM's guitar still looks great so it stayed and I had the bat masks in the dress up box...

I did buy a new stool from Kmart for $29   I had red but that is now in the bar room and this grey one looks perfect...

Urghh just realised the bunting eek it has to go Ill make up a new one in black and yellow.

Im lucky some toys match some don't but this is a room that is to be lived in not for show...

Love his room now even with leads sticking out of the cupboard  guess im keeping it real ha ha.

LM loves his room he said it is the best room in the house ....

its even better that my kid matches ha ha ...and no I didn't plan that ha ha
