Katy Perry

The LM loves Katy Perry.

There was a competition where she was going to come to the winning school to visit.

LM's school entered twice and was in the top twenty but hey they didn't win...

I thought of getting tickets for one of her concerts but couldn't get tickets...

Then one morning I was watching Sunrise on TV and they said two more concerts had been released well I got on the computer straight away all I could get were standing on the centre floor.

No good for LM as he is only 7 so I rang Ticketek direct...

Yeah !!!!! I got two tickets very good seats  uh oh who was going to take him...

Urr  not me i don't like her music ,Kerry had a work Christmas party to go to....Mel couldn't as it was her engagement party the next day and she had heaps to do...I rang Kev in a bit of a tizz and he said he'd take him...

What ! I knew Kev doesn't like that music either but gee what a man and special dad he is that he would do that I knew I loved him for a reason..

So off they went....

My two beautiful boys....

Dad this is pretty loud hey !

Whats a concert without a hot dog.....

SO They got home around midnight....LM was so tired he gave me a kiss and went to bed almost fell asleep straight away.

Kev said while he still doesn't like her music she puts on a good show....He said the LM loved the show and sung along but he said he thought he was a bit overwhelmed oh well it was his first concert...first of many....

Glue a bow on the bottom and glue on your hat..

For his cheeks I just dabbed some pink paint onto them with a small brush or you could use a cotton bud.

The contents of the bag is a mix of lots of little things a teacher may need..

This is the little verse that I put on the front of the bag.

I bought a lovely pink mason jar to put the goodies in...

Here is what was in the bag...

Aspro clear-for having the little man in your class (this bit was just for us you don't have to do this or if you do just word it different...

A Chupa chup- for days that suck....
Extra chewing gum- because your extra special...
Tea Bag- take time to relax...
Smarties-think smart....
Twine- to tie friendships together...
Crayon-to colour your day...
Band Aid-for hurt feelings...
Lifesavers-for when you've had one of those days...
Kiss- everyone needs a hug or two...
Star- to remind you that you are a star teacher...
Rubber band- to be flexible...
Toothpick- to pick out the good qualities in each child...
Mintie-you are worth a mint to your students..

Eraser-everyone makes mistakes...

There is lots more you could  add to this or take away the choice is yours....

Even though we are late for this year (sorry) how good would this be for a New teacher who has just graduated or even for a welcome gift for your child's teacher in 2015...

Christmas craft 9 Wine glass snow globes...

Today I'm doing another Snow globe Oh no you say but come on this one is different as it uses a plastic wine glass so come on I know you want to have a look....and then I know you will want to make it...

You will need

A plastic wine glass I got mine in a pack of 6 for $2 from the cheap shop...
cardboard....
decorations for inside on globe....
ribbon...
hot glue gun...
some trim for around base...
small piece of foam...
artificial snow...

Disregard stem of glass.
glue a piece of ribbon around top...

Cut a piece of cardboard to fit base...

Arrange your decorations on the cardboard base using your little bits of foam to give height...

Tip upside down and put your snow in.

Glue round cardboard base and put on glass...

I had this pretty little lace trim in my lace box so I just wrapped it around the base hiding the cardboard...

And there it is another beautiful Snow globe using a plastic glass....

What do you think?

I hope you give it a try ....
