Bits and Bobs 1

How cute is this jar ....

I put a pack of fairy lights inside the glass cloche with a pear....

I decided to get Aidan a Santa sack .He has never had one so now was the time to get one.

Big W had a sale on so I ordered it from there and we received it within a week .Great service great product.

Lately one of Aidans favourite things to do is to go Ten Pin Bowling .So here we are at bowling again and this time Aidan won .

He beat Kevin and Uncle Alan and he was the happiest little boy...

Just had to show this picture of mum and John it is really lovely..

How cute is my little Levi....and he hasn't lost any of his hair either...

I am sick and tired of either making or buying those cheap Advent calenders so when I saw this in Target I knew it would be coming home with me ...

The "A" is one I made last year...

My two boys at Kevin's work Christmas party....

We had a great day there so thanks Schindler...

I bet you cant guess who was excited to get this slippery slide for the pool.he he he

Me and my cheeky little boy Jaxon...

I am a farmer look at my lovely fig fruit ....these surprised me when they popped out but fingers crossed that they grow and I can make something yum for kev.

Monochrome Letters

With the birth of Levi I needed to make my gorgeous grandson a couple of craft pieces...

Kerry isn't into bright colours or novelty themes she likes a simple monochrome theme so that's what I gave her....

I found this paper in Spotlight and wished they had heaps more instead  of just one sheet but hey I got that sheet and made each boy their own letter.

Now I love these blocks.

Kev cuts them out for me and then I painted them in white and with  a grey paint that I mixed up the letters take shape.

I love how these craft items turned out and lucky for me  so did Kerry.

I love my Christmas balls

I know its after Christmas but hey I know I am slack but I just wanted to show some of the lovely Christmas balls that I made for this Christmas...

These bling letter balls would have to be my all time favourite....

It doesn't matter what colour the balls are I love them and I love knowing that they will become family treasures to be put out each year.

Long when I am forgotten hopefully the balls are still getting put on the Christmas trees and giving people pleasure.

Mason Jar Cookie gifts

Teacher gifts URGHH!!!!

I really hate teacher gifts.....

I mean how many coffee cups with 'Best Teacher' them can a teacher have.

Well I decided to do something different.

I saw this on Pinterest and thought brilliant...

So I made Cookies in a jar....

That way the teacher could use it whenever she wanted to or re gift it ha ha

I had some Mason jars from I don't know where but Kmart sell them.

I made a little label for the front and also printed out the recipe and stuck it on the lid.

We had some silver ribbon so that decorated the jar perfectly...

Biggest hint I can give is make a cone out of a sheet of paper and pour your ingredients into the jar via this cone ,it  made it easier to fill the jars..

To make these yummy cookies here is what I did

Layer the jar by adding the following

2 cups of self raising flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
3/4cup of brown sugar
3/4 cup  of sugar
1 tablespoon salt
fill rest of jar with choc chips

The recipe I printed to go with these ingredient's was

heat to mod oven
grease cookie tray

tip jar into a bowl and mix
add
1/2 cup of softened butter
1 egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
mix

drop spoonful onto tray bake 10 -15 mins

There you have it a quick and easy Christmas gift.

PS- the teachers loved it...
